After assembly, the valve flanges must be sealed with polyethylene bags for transportation or work to prevent grease or dust contamination.
Test: the fixtures and tools used must be degreased prior to any FAT.During the pressure test and leakage test, compressed nitrogen or clean compressed air must be used. Before performing the test, the test device must be effectively cleaned. Never test with water.
Transport: valve surface shall be cleaned again with a cloth dipped in degreasing solvent after all work is done. The internal and external surfaces of the valve shall be free of any grease or adhesion after cleaning.
